Who will reward those who fight corruption

There are sectors that gives awards to individuals and perhaps also groups and institutions that fight corruption. Among the best examples of these reward-giving bodies are:

Transparency International (Award)
Ramon Magsaysay Foundation (Award)
Department of Finance (Monetary)
World Bank (Monetary)
Others

A friend of mine who entered the contemplative community said: The one that gives the biggest reward for the person or persons who fight against graft and corruption is God.

Reducing occasions for corruption

S. K. Cruz promotes the campaign of Transparency International, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, as well as other anti-corruption agencies in the drive vs. graft and corruption in the public sector as well as in the private sector. Please click here.

It is anticipated that the burgeoning movement against corruption will succeed in drawing into its folds millions of members in the months and years to come.

Medicine for the Poor - Thin Excuse for stealing Billions

Among the most corrupt modus operandi in public sector procurement is the purchase of textbooks and most of all, medicines.

There is a call for the abolition of the pork barrel in the entire archipelago. It is believed that now is also the occasion to stop the graft and corruption rampant in the acquisition of books and medicines, from the national to sub-national agencies (Regional offices), down to the local government units.

(Note: It is on record that more than 50% of ghost suppliers of medicines have encountered serious accidents or were killed by their own counterparts in the government as in the case of businessman who organized 20th Pharma Trade with Dr. Edna Perlas and another fellow alumnus of the UST college of medicine.)
