The public may never be assuaged or appeased by the proceeding of the government's case against Mr. and Mrs. Jaime and Janet Napoles but with reduced media space to ventilate issues about a case already filed in the proper, or so it appears, forum, the physical, psychological and moral damage that the hype causes on the nation as a collective will at least be brought to a simmer.
Already, the issue about the P10-Billion PDAF scam and the P+70-Billion DAP scandal has gotten into the nerves of a lot of people. Those on the side of the expose of the P10-Billion scandal through their crack and well briefed team of whistle blowers feel bitterness and deep hurt that was visited upon them by the group that exposed the P+70-Billion scam in the name of DAP.
No single citizen of the Republic will benefit from the continued mud slinging, denouncing, counter denouncing, as well as other dirty tactics employed by unscrupulous public relations experts that are running after hundreds of millions to billions in campaign contract fees. Only the ice cold public relations money machines hired by both sides will benefit while the administration and the political opposition will burn each other to cinders and exhaust one another to death. At the same time, the noise keeps splitting the collective ears of the public and pounds and pounds upon half-truths, innuendos, accusations, derision, vulgarities that perpetuate and hasten rather than cure the poor average citizenry's decline into collective lunacy or dementia.
The trauma of this cruel brouhaha will be so great that it will cause mass psycho-somatic afflictions, involuntary horizontal violence among family members and networks of communities, serious mental retardation and regression, among many other ills. After all, as everyone believes, money is truly the root of all evil. In this very classic case, absolute power, masked by pretentious disdain for money is the real root of the evil, but no one will ever know that.
Unless, as the concern is echoed thus:

Indeed, the unknowable might yet come to light. As far as knowledgeable quarters are concerned the key to the end of this erstwhile happy party gone turbulent and calamitous, will be found in Ilocos and Southern Luzon.
The issue of who will unlock the key is the six million dollar question. It is a race against time on who will take care of the loose end of Ilocos and the other loose end of Southern Luzon.
Were the administration to have a free hand and decides to move very swiftly, both the North and South loose ends can be tied up into a knot using the carrot and stick. At its worst, the incumbent can simply invoke the rightful power of the state to engage force to properly suborn its subjects. If on the other hand, the rivals of the incumbent pre-empt the loose end from Ilocos and the South, chaos is going to reign in the country but sooner than later there will be calm.
In the meanwhile, the money making machines better just shy away from earning their dirty billions or hundreds of millions. They may be kind enough to allow us peace and quiet spaces by kindly shutting down their money making salvos, attacks and counter attacks and ear piercing, shattering, highly pollutant shrieks and rants. Even lowly farmers, protect their cows, chicken and pigs from being exposed to the sound of loud noises and thunder that causes them to just die all of a sudden. This compassion should not be difficult for money machines to swallow if not for all too consuming greed.
By the stroke of misfortune, the money machines might just get caught in the cross fire and be buried in the very shit and quagmire of their own creation, and be buried like the poor Wretched of the Earth author, legendary Finland national hero, writer and wartime publicist "Irmari Rantamala" whose pitiful worm-eaten corpse was dug out of the garbage pits.
